Our Surroundings

We are surrounded not only by nature, but also by local communities, and interact with them in many ways.

We welcome visits from local schools and offer the children a close up experience with insects that both amazes them and aids their learning. to support this.

Insects serve locally as both a food source and a source of income. We love having locals aged from 7 to 70 come to us with insects to sell in order to supplement their income.
In addition we train some locals how to breed insects and this is an area that is constantly expanding.
We also involve our guests in the local community by having them stay in local accommodation on certain trips and they are always warmly welcomed
