Siam butterfly farm and guesthouse are set on 5 acres with large areas planted with butterfly and moth food plants such as citrus, santol trees and sesame.
We have 3 large flight cages, 2 covered rearing areas together with 2 store areas and an office/caterpillar room.
Many flowering plants are in bloom all year round to attract and feed the butterflies and we also use artificial food when needed. Most months you can see several species being bred and reared here and there is always something interesting to see and learn.
Much of our time is spent collecting eggs, feeding, and cleaning caterpillars and we also take care of and propagate the plants needed to insure a continuous supply of food and flowers.
We supply the domestic market with caterpillars and pupae and breed some to use for our shop and the framed insects we sell.
